Gregory Alan Isakov – Big Black Car
I have always heard the Capetonians talk about the Black South Easter but up until this wedding, had never experienced it before. Don’t get me wrong – I have experienced some strong wind in my life. But this wind! This wind was a force to be reckoned with. It was so strong that you couldn’t even walk upright, outside – you had to hold on to something for support. In the same way that rain has the potential to disrupt some wedding day plans, so does wind – Hollie and Ash had to move their outdoor ceremony to a location indoors – this turned out to be the distillery, which provided an industrial and quirky backdrop for their I-do’s.
But even with these big plan changes, this beautiful bride and groom retained their composure, their joy and their presence on their special wedding day. They took it all in their stride and focused on having a meaningful and wonderful time with their loved ones and guests.
The Stellenbosch mountains were painted orange and then purple with their sunset and the music and dancefloor, drowned out all remnants of the howling wind!
Such a beautiful celebration!
