Flawed Mangoes – Swimming
Set amongst the olive orchards in a rustic town of Italy called Spoleto, Alex, Corban and their nearest + dearest gathered for a weekend of wedding celebrations.
There was an air of calm and romance, that softly lingered throughout the weekend. The sights and sounds included: Italian wine, big pots of pasta, legs in the pool, laughter, naps, flower arranging, the crunch of car tyres on gravel, dart-playing, moonlight, more pasta, donkeys’ brays, card games, dogs bounding down the driveway, more wine.
Their ceremony was set in a small, stone courtyard, overlooking the rollings hills of the surrounding farm, with linen ribbons, blowing in the breeze, adorning the tree canopies, overhead. After welcoming the newlywed couple for the first time, guests enjoyed their canapés in the gardens of the villa. The festivities were kicked off with teary speeches, many hugs and looks of endearment and were then capped off with the groom, serenading his bride, on the piano. (Not forgetting a game or two of wedding-standard beer pong, to finish!)
A beautiful weekend, never to be forgotten!
